I knit for my own personal peace of mind and for peace in the world. I live in a small town in Oregon, belong to the Methodist church, am studying to be a librarian, and work in reference at Linn-Benton Community College Library in Albany. I also knit. These are a dozen little hats (and a pair of booties) I recently mailed to a military hospital.
I have been knitting hats and booties for preemie babies for many years. I used to make burial garments but these are both time consuming and emotionally difficult to work on. I've also made prayer shawls for friends. You can see some of these items on my webshots page.
